Pack a picnic and drive up to the beautiful plateau on the mountain top behind the house. Turn right out of the driveway and follow the signs. About a 30 min drive. The views are spectacular. Then go for an ice-cream in the pretty hilltop town of Montefegatesi or drive on into the nature reserve of Orrido di Bottri.
